Description

The space between the lower courses of the two main rivers of Syunik resembles a triangle with its sharp edge directed southwards. All of the settlements of this region are situated along the riverbanks, and the area between the banks is mostly used as pasture (especially during the two past centuries, when the nomads settled in the villages abandoned by Armenians).
