Inscription, Armenian, Engraved, Commemoration 1742 y․

Carved on a tombstone lying in the bema of the first floor of the southern sacristy:
The Lord Jesus Christ, in the year 1742
This is the tomb of St. Nerses
Catholicos of Aghvank.
He reached the age of 100
And consigned his soul to God
Departing to heaven
In the year 1763.
May his name be always remembered kindly.
