Atkhuyk Monuments

Location

Judging from the tithe (12 dahekan) Atkhuyk was one of the major villages of Kashunik. It is situated on a sunny slope, 1.5 km south of Prjants.

Historical Introduction

The present-day Turkish name is Atkiz. The identity of Atkhuyr and Atkiz is a proven fact.
