Historical Introduction
1894 y․

In 1894 G. Ashotian, a correspondent of the “Nor-Dar” periodical, wrote, “...The village is adjoined by a church known by the name of Koosanats Anapat among the local people. The sanctuary, which has preserved two semi-destroyed monastic cells, is bare of any inscriptions.”

Architectural Description
16 — 17 cc․

The cloister, whose building peculiarities are typical of the 16th to 17th centuries, is built of undressed stone and mortar.

Description
1980 y․

By 1980 the cells of the cloister had been totally demolished, the only remnants of the church comprising the parts adjoining its bema and northern facade.
