As an Armenian village, Alghuli had a church, which was named St. Hripsime in the records of 1879.

Description
1891 y․

The same church was mentioned as Holy Virgin in the records of 1891 and afterwards. Probably, within that period the church was substantially renovated and anointed, receiving a new name. Presently, we saw no traces of any church there.
